ABOUT

I am a self representing artist who views art as a means of expressing my true self. I draw much inspiration from nature; I love light and the moods it creates. In my paintings I look for opportunities to capture fleeting moments of something special evoked, perhaps by a long forgotten feeling; I aim to convey simple perceptions.

There's so much I want say and discover but time is so limited.

That is why I favour pastels and acrylics as they allow a quicker execution and greater freedom of expression in a style that is perhaps something like modern impressionism with a tinge of abstractionism.
